Welcome to The Cow Shed Nail Retreat, a cosy and rustic escape dedicated to enhancing natural beauty. Nestled in the charming Bedfordshire village of Great Barford, I specialise in Gel Prescriptive Manicures, designed to nourish and strengthen natural nails.
My retreat provides a peaceful and personal experience, with evening appointments available Monday to Thursday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, making it easy to fit self-care into your busy schedule.
Previously known as The Nail & Brow Cabin, I've evolved into a welcoming sanctuary where quality, care and relaxation come first. Book your appointment and indulge in beautifully natural nails in a rustic retreat like no other.
About ME
I'm Lian, a newly 37-year-old Pisces – so yes, I’m all about compassion, creativity, and a whole lot of intuition (with a dash of emotion, too!).
Back in 2023, while on maternity leave, I took a leap and made a big career switch to become a nail tech – and I’ve never looked back! Before that, I dabbled in hairdressing, worked in banking, the travel industry, and even medical – all with one thing in common: customer care.
When you visit The Cow Shed Nail Retreat, you might be welcomed by my little ones and our fluffball pup – she loves a cuddle if you’re up for it!
By day I’m a full-time mum, and by night, I transform into your local nail artist. I’m all about creating a relaxing retreat where you can unwind, chat, and leave with gorgeous nails.
A few fun facts:
• I’m a huge Highland Cow fan (clearly – just look around!), and I dream of a hands-on experience one day.
• I love being outdoors, exploring hidden gems around the UK, and using our National Trust pass for little family adventures.
• I’ve got a bit of a green thumb, too – sunshine + gardening = my happy place.
• My hubby and I are big NFL fans – Go Green Bay Packers! We try to catch an NFL game in London whenever we can, too.
